About Ziggo Dome
The Ziggo Dome is an impressive concert hall located in the Zuidoost district of Amsterdam, right next to the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Opened in 2012, the venue can host large events with a total capacity of 17,000 people. 6,300 people can be seated in the area closest to the stage, while the rest of the audience can be seated in the two-tier grandstands.
The Ziggo Dome was built between 2010 and 2012 and attracts attention with its architecture. Its facade is covered with 840,000 LED lamps, enabling various visual displays. The building is a square measuring 90 metres by 90 metres and with a height of 30 metres it makes a significant contribution to the city's skyline.
The Ziggo Dome is not only used for concerts, but also for sporting events. For example, events such as the korfball final have been organised here. The venue has become a meeting point for music lovers. Ziggo Dome hosted its first concert on 24 June 2012 with Marco Borsato and has since hosted many national and international artists. World-renowned bands such as Pearl Jam have also performed here.
Annual events include popular organisations such as the 538 Jingle Ball, held since 2012, and the Holland zingt Hazes, hosted since 2013. In addition, the Muziekfeest van het jaar, organised annually in December, brings audiences together to welcome the new year.

Great sound system, great organisation, great hall
Absolutely great concert venue! We saw Teddy Swims, a sold out night with a packed stadium. Everything was smooth going in and out and with security checks on our way in. We felt very safe and this allowed us to enjoy the music and the concert. Great 👍 job great 👍 place great Teddy!!!

2025: a marvellous place
Geweldige service voor rolstoelers of gehandicapten. Speciale ingang, met fouilleren ging everything erg luchtig en gemoedelijk. Mocht drinken van mezelf gelukkig meenemen. Locker voor 2€ gehuurd en daar pasten 2 winterjassen met gemak in (goedkoper dan je jas bij garderobe inleveren want daar betaal je 2,50 per item! Speciale wc met elektrische deur erg ruim en goed bereikbaar alles met rolstoel. Bar heeft speciale balie voor rolstoelgebruikers. Top! Zaal was even chaos...stond geen suppoost bij de ingang en wij wisten helaas niet dat vak I (lijkt in donker op vak of rij 1) achteraan lag maar goed geholpen naar het goede vak en daar wat gehannes helaas met mede rolstoelers die té breed waren gaan zitten met hun begeleider. Even iedereen 10cm op laten schuiven en jawel mijn vriendin kon ook zitten...dit is wel een aandachtspuntje voor de suppoost. Al met al supergave Disney in Concert gehad! Wow 😲 echt zo mooi! Goede plaatsen voor de rolstoelgebruikers.
