Jacobs Hoeve Kaasboerderij Katwoude is located on Henri Willig's Kaasboerderij Jacobs Hoeve and Biologische Jersey Farm. Katwoude is located in IJsselmeerdijk between Monnickendam and Volendam. The rural setting, typical of the Noord-Holland polder, is where the famous Dutch cheeses are bred. Jacobs Hoeve shows visitors cheese making in traditional dress. The shop offers a wide selection of Henri Willig cheeses, souvenirs and typical Dutch delicacies. There is also the possibility to visit Henri Willig's biological Jersey farm since 2018. You can learn about the farm on a self-guided tour. Travel companies usually organise bus tours to the cheese farm, but visitors without an appointment are also welcome. Individual visitors do not need to make a reservation. Entrance and car parking are free of charge.
